Founded in 1972, Long Island Rugby Football Club is located in Nassau County, New York; home games are played at Center Island Beach Field, Bayville New York. The LIRFC competes in both 15s and premier division 7s and has a long history of success in both, recent wins include: 2018 USA Club Div. III s runners-up, 2018 East USA Div. III Champions, 2018 Northeast Div. III GU Champions, and Empire GU D3 Champions.
