Established in the spring of 1970, Des Moines Rugby Football Club participates in the Midwest Rugby Union. They field several men’s and women’s teams for the Spring and Falls 15s as well as summer 7s teams. The DMRFC members pride themselves on both their sportsmanship and their community participation; they are involved in several community events such as the Cancer Awareness drive and the annual ‘Toys for Tots’ campaign. The Des Moines Rugby Club is located in West Des Moines, Iowa, they boast two pitches and a clubhouse with a viewing porch.
