How to get there:

Toulouse Blanca airport is directly linked to the centre with the Tram line 2. Once you’re in

town there are two different metro lines and on matchday, you can use the B metro line to

Saint-Michel Marcel Langer and walk up to the stadium.

Where the rugby’s happening:

The Stadium was built back in 1938 for the football World Cup and has been renovated

three times since then. It’s got a massive history with rugby as it’s held Stade Toulousain

games in both Top 14 and European Champions Cup. It will hold some All Blacks, Fiji and

Japan games.

Where to get some beers:

Place Saint-Pierre is the hotspot when it comes to having a drink in Toulouse, Chez Tonton is

the heart and soul of the vibrant square. The blend of cheap drinks and constant singing

from the locals creates one of the most exciting atmospheres in town.

What to visit whilst I’m there:

The place du Capitole is a beautiful square in the centre of town and is full of nice shops and

bars for you to catch some of the sunny “Ville Rose” or pink city in English. The Canal du

midi is a river that flows through the city so a walk along the water is always a lovely

experience in Toulouse.
